Prophetic Proof in the Patriarchs
Did you know there is prophecy in the meaning and order of the first ten patriarch's names as they are listed in Genesis in the Bible? 

Here are the names in the order of appearance in scripture and the definition of their names:

Adam = ManSeth = AppointedEnosh = MortalKenan = SorrowMahalalel = Blessed GodJared = Shall Come DownEnoch = TeachingMethuselah = His Death Shall BringLamech = DespairingNoah = Rest, Comfort

When we put these name definitions together into a sentence we have:

Man [was] appointed [to become] mortal [and experience] sorrow.  Blessed God shall come down teaching.  His death shall bring [to the] despairing [both] rest [and] comfort.

Coincidence or part of God's great design? To me, this is just another demonstration of "proof in the prophesy".  Shalom, friends!

We All Need Jesus

"I am a good person, I live a good life, I am considerate of others, I obey the law and I give to charities. "Be Kind" are the words by which I live. Since God is love, and I live by love, God's not going to send me to hell - that's where serial murderers, sociopaths and haters are sent."

Well, you are right about one thing, God is love.  But additionally, God is just, righteous and merciful.  In order to show us how He expects us to live our lives, he gave us an instruction book called the Holy Bible.  In that instruction book is a set of rules called the Ten Commandments.  To break even one of those commands, is to break the "law" and is deserving of punishment.  Those commands can be found in Exodus, chapter 20. 

They are:
